The weekly Thargoid Progress Reset forces this AX War to be way less interesting than it could be

Right now everything is measured in 7 days. What can we achieve in a week of time? Because if we can't achieve it then it's a complete waste.

But what if the time was measured in weeks instead of days?

Well we could actually spread our forces out and defend multiple systems at the same time instead of commiting literally everything we have at single systems at a time. This means different player groups could actually coordinate like if this was a real conflict.

Examples:

Right now player groups A, B, C and D are all in System A because that is what it takes to defend a single system within 7 days.

But what if System A had 3 weeks, System B had 4 weeks and System C had 5 weeks?

Groups A and B could defend Sys A, Group C could defend Sys B and Group D could defend Sys C. Once Sys A is defended, Groups A and B could disperse across the other Systems to help defend. They could coordinate with the other teams to go where is needed.

I just think everyone going to a single system is boring. At this rate FDEV could have created weekly CGs and achieved the same thing.

Not to mention the game's network code can't handle so many players being in the same spot, evident by my game freezing upon trying to drop into Wakata last night in open.
