This has nothing to do with me, Dota 2 ranked MUTE/communication.

This is not a rant, let’s make it clear, I couldn’t care less about myself because I mostly play turbo.

But I’ve seen a lot of people complain about communication in Dota 2. You either don’t talk and not be reported or talk anything and be reported, have lower behavior score and play with more toxic people.

I would feel that this would also happen to be if I ever played as much ranked as I used to.

I have a good microphone, like a really good studio microphone and I like to talk just the important stuff like misses, when to strike an attack for a kill and to back and so on, basic stuff.

Even I get reported from people who are mad because we lost that match. I look into GDPR data and I see at least 2-4 people report me every 10-15 matches, again it doesn’t matter because I also avg 10-25 commends in those 10-15 matches.

The reason of me making this post in the first place is that for people to have good experience and not be punished is not to talk at all because valve introduced a system where if YOU don’t say anything in chat, they can’t report you, as simple as that.

What is the solution to this for people who play ranked ?
