just thoughts that are building off of ideas ive seen around the sub.
So as of right now, outside of the current pre-wipe events, you can store anything in your secure container. I, and im sure that everyone else who spends a good amount of time in this game, upgrade to EOD to get the Gamma container, among other perks.
Currently if you have the EOD edition, there's no real reason to grind for kappa, as you're only down 3 extra spaces.
I would personally like to see a change in the game, where we start out with a secure key ring. maybe half the size of the key tool. then, during the quest line you get a secure med container thats a 2×2 that you can keep with the key tool, so you dont have to choose (or maybe you do have to choose between either of them. what do you guys think?)
then, you finish the quest line with getting the kappa container, which is a 9×9 secure container that holds anything. this would make the grind for kappa actually worth it, as if Kappa becomes the only secure container that can hold anything, and we make secure key rings and med pouches for the start of the game.
maybe we keep the alpha or beta container as a reward for getting close to kappa.
Even though i have the gamma container, id like to see a change on containers, more so like this than simply only allowing stuff to be put in before the raid, and nothing during. and i honestly dont like the idea of breaking into secure containers. sounds like it would be messy to implement, and be more of a hassle. my personal thoughts is that it hopefully is just lore on why they did the secure container event, and hopefully wont happen.
TL;DR kappa is the only secure container that will hold anything. start out with secure key ring and work up to a secure med pouch, then maybe alpha or beta secure container before obtaining Kappa. makes the grind for kappa and the container actually useful.
