Thoughts on shields in Tarkov?

I wish I could do a poll but the sub doesn’t allow it.

What would you guys think about something like a Russian vant shield in tarkov? In real life the armor rating is about a 3. In game I’d say level 5 would make it on par with it’s real life variant since it can stop M80 (41 Pen in game). usually M80 will be stopped about 4 times before going through a level 5 body armor with 100 durability.

So in conclusion this is probably how it would be. Level 5 shield with 125 durability, Weighs about 18 kg, Goes into primary slot, Only handguns are allowed to be used. If you want to aim in, the shield is fully moved to the side exposing the entire body. When covering your body, it covers everything except the legs and the arm the Pistol is being held in (if you have a pistol), EXTREMELY limited vision, and the material is probably combined materials.

Say anything that might be missing or that would balance the shield to make it not so annoying to play against.
