Ive complied feedback from reddit, twitter etc and made it into 1 post while adding my input. Seeing how OG's Monkey Business Show was received in Stockholm and that they are going to be having a show here, im proposing that they can make it an even larger event so people who couldnt get tickets to TI can join and watch together.

For people without twitter:
As you all know, the TI11 ticketing issue has caused major outcry in the community. I've complied feedback from several social media threads and am proposing a potential solution. Pls help to share and retweet.
Problem 1 (Pricing/Scalping)
– Original cost price is steep, with an estimate done by ONEEsports showing it costs upwards of 3x the monthly median wage for someone in the Philippines to fly over for just the finals.
– Scalpers scooping up the tickets and reselling them on sites such as carousell (from what ive seen its an average of $1.5kSGD for finals tickets which is around 3x cost price)
– they have 0 intention of going, as seen from anywhere from 5 up to 60 tickets listed for sale.
Problem 2 (Flights/Accoms)
– Many fans have alr booked their flights/accommodations and have to either
– A: Cancel, if they can do so for free
– B: Watch TI from their hotel room/pubstomps
– C: Explore Singapore
– D: Buy from scalpers (DONT just let them lose their money)
In Valve's defence
– Stadiums sign exclusive deals with ticketing companies and so there is not way they can use the stadium without going through ticketmaster
(Dosent change the fact that it is a bad company as can be seen in this video
– Of course they couldve chosen another country but oh well thats all too late now right?
What fans WANT
– A place to watch together with other fans (IRL Watch Party)
– Big screen, hype, etc
– Affordable
– NO scalpers
Solutions
– Approved pubstomp/pubcrawl venues
(e.g. Scape, which hosted TI9 viewing, other events)
– OG Monkey Business Show on a LARGE scale
Proposal to OG and the Monkey Business Show
– Since you guys are gna be hosting the show in SG (big fan btw) im proposing making it a bigger event, filling in the gap that has been created in the market for venues to go.
– You guys are one of, if not the ONLY organisation that i can see be capable of hosting an event like this while at the same time generating enough hype to mimic that of being at the actual mainstage itself. With your community reach, im sure it will be an instant success.
– Amidst all of this negativity about the ticketing, you guys could rise up and help fufil the dreams/bucket list of many of the SEA and Australian fans who sees TI11 as the only one accessible for them while giving those who have flights and accoms booked somewhere to go.
– The demand for something like this is definitely there and lets face it many of us were already willing to throw the $850 for the 6 days and are still willing to pay for a good time be it in the stadium or not
– Of course, there still comes the problem of scalpers if u guys were to host this but i think not using ticketmaster and limiting it to 1/2 tickets per acc would go a long way.
– Would love to help from SG wherever possible

Normal ticket price too high, scalpers bad (DO NOT BUY FROM SCALPERS LET THEM LOSE MONEY)
