I’ve recently been getting back into the world of “The Witcher” since the next gen update for the Wild Hunt, including playing that game and Gwent (Hell, I’ve even started reading the books again). Sad to see Gwent will be unsupported soon (at least by CDPR).
So it’s got me thinking two things:
1.) What if like other cards games, we introduce a monthly (or seasonal) ranked ban list? Think of it: for a whole season, no Oneiromancy and Heatwave (which are basically Pot of Greed: Gwent Edition). Honestly, when was the last time you’ve seen a Geralt card other than the signs Yrden, Quen, and Igni? Ban at least one of those, we could see the even Axii on the field somehow. Idk. Some idea I had that I wanted to share.
2.) I remember asking a while back what archetypes people would like to see comeback. Now I wanna ask… what your favorite archetypes? Personally, mine are Insectoids from monsters and Siege Engines from Northern Realms.
(Bonus point: what is your favorite bronze card? An Craite Marauder for me)
