There, I said it. I’ve always liked it, I still like it. I think it fits the whole vibe. In fact, I wish we saw some more deformation. I would love it if stone eventually grew moss, for instance.
BUT
I do understand people who are annoyed and who suffer in PVP or in raids (which I did too). So maybe it should be detached from damage. Or at least decrease/reduce its speed.
I also wish it wasn’t just roofs that stop it. Why doesn’t a second floor stop it? Roofs look less waterproof than floor pieces anyway.
I also support other ideas, like using resin to block water damage from a recent thread. Maybe fires have a protection field, with bonfires protecting a large area.
TLDR: I’m not against detaching/reducing damage or alternatives to stopping or reducing it but I like the deformed, non-freshly built look of building pieces and I’d love to see more of it.
Is it just me? Would it make it better for you if damage was reduced or removed? Or more options to block it would exist but the base mechanic stayed?
