VR at last . . . and amazing! Two questions.

I have over 4200 hours in ED, between two accounts, all of it on a flat screen and all of it interesting. I recently got a Quest 3 and spent a few days working out the kinks and learning the new tech. Now I am using it regularly for ED . . .

And it's amazing. For years, I read the posts here that said that VR was the way to play this game. I believed them, but since I held off on VR until now, I chose not to pay much attention. And now I see: it's the same game, but with a new sense of the reality of space, a much fuller sense of immersion. Even the flat screen on foot is tolerable for exobiology, where I'm only off my ship to scan. I'll go back a flat screen if I want to do on-foot missions and combat.

And two questions for those with experience in VR:

— any recommendations for headstraps? I am using the default headstrap and while it's OK, it's not suited for extended play. I am considering upgrading to the Meta Elite strap or the BoboVR 3. Any thoughts?

— any thoughts about reducing the queasy feeling? I had hoped my stomach could handle the new sense of motion, but I am finding myself having trouble after a while. Do you get used to it? Do changing the graphics setting matter? I'm playing on a Intel i9-10900KF with 32 Gb RAM and a Geforce RTX 4070. I'd appreciate any advice.

On the plus side, it's probably a good thing I waited for VR, since my muscle memory for the game on my HOTAS makes playing with the headset over my eyes both smooth and familiar.

Again, praise to Frontier to making such an incredible sim!
