This may sound slightly like a rant but hope you (and some devs) read it through.
I love Odyssey, but more I play the game more I realize the fact that Horizons stuff started to feel old and outdated. In my opinion, there is a desperate need to do a revamp in transport missions, salvage and rescue missions, operation missions (hack a megaship, etc) and piracy as a whole.
I mean, I love mining, hauling stuff around, doing AX or NPC combat as well as other 'meta' activities but sometimes I'd love to do these kinds of missions/jobs with 'at least' some kind of a decent reward (be in commodities or credits, maybe modules).
I want to search and rescue people or cargo from wreckages, I want to do some transporting with more dynamic events, I want to hack megaships maybe with a countdown tied to it (this is already available in guardian sites) & use my recon and hatch breaker limpets in it to see if I can finish it in time, I want to do pirating against not only a single measly vulnerable NPC but maybe against a wing of haulers. Why not add faction 'allied' missions specifically for pirating, where you go against a single Cutter and two guards which protect it? Say, if you disable (not kill) all those ships the mission is partially completed and collecting the cargo of the hauler accomplishes the mission completely (and maybe you get to keep what you steal? Also, there are A LOT of 'mafia' factions in this game. How about giving more missions related to piracy like 'disable the wing' or 'capture the driver', instead of 'kill 80 of those guys' or 'assassinate x person'?
What do you think about all this? Wouldn't improving the game in these aspects drive more people to play the game differently (doing RPs aside)?
Sorry for the long post. o7
