What lasting impact do you think Arena will have on Escape from Tarkov?

Now that there's a lot of gameplay footage available I'm curious how people think Arena will effect Tarkov proper. My opinion is that Arena feedback will probably force BSG to completely rework some of the fundamental mechanics of the game (can you guess which?) if they want it to be a financially viable product, mechanics they've been historically averse to changing too radically, and we may see those changes rolled into normal Tarkov. On the other hand, I think that a wildly successful Arena could lead into a Fortnite situation where the old version of the game is phased out and forgotten in favor of chasing easy monetization. I don't see this is a real concern at the moment as I don't think Arena will be popular with arcade shooter players without a lot of those fundamental design reworks I mentioned, but stranger things have happened. What are people's thoughts?
