With so many mods available, I'm curious which ones players recommend. Of course we have different categories of mods, such as QOL, Graphics, Enhancements, Expansions, etc.
Here's a list of the mods I currently use and recommend.
QOL
- UseEquipmentInWater
- InstantMonsterLoot
- SpeedyPaths
- PlantEverything
- SteadyRegeneration
- AutoRepair
- FuelEternal
- SmarterContainers
- Slope_Combat_Assistant
- MassFarming
- TargetPortal (IMO one of the best; can teleport between any portals)
- Max_Dungeon_Rooms (make dungeons bigger)
- AzuMapDetails (Show structures and ships on map)
- AzuAreaRepair (Repair everything in the area – for structures)
- EquipmentAndQuickSlots (a must have – armor, etc. in separate slots – opens inventory)
- CraftFromContainers (Another must-have – pulls items from containers)
UI
- Minimal_UI
Graphics
- Wallybach's HD Textures
- Render_Limits (I extend the default around 50% for my 3090RTX)
- MistBeGone (this is awesome; see the Mistlands as they should have been IMO)
Expansion/Extension
- Sailing
- Ranching
- PackHorse
- Mining
- Lumberjacking
- Farming
- Evasion
- Cooking
- Building
- Blacksmithing
So what mods do others recommend, and what category do they fall under?
