What to do when your teammate starts griefing and runs down mid from 0mins?

This happened a few weeks back and thought I should get some opinions on this.

Queued into a Normal game and we got a guy who immediately TPed mid and died. He sent his courier there too. Kept doing this while ability abusing (E.g: ES Fissure block mid creeps etc.)

Another teammate said they have played the previous match with this dude before and said he did the same. Naturally, all 9 players decided to report the guy.

Here's my question:

What do I do? Do I continue playing the game? Or do I sit in my base and wait for the enemy to finish fast?

I did the former and got flamed by one of my teammates along with one of the enemy players for "wasting their time". At the same time, I also got commended by a teammate and an enemy player for playing the game.

My logic is, regardless of how badly my teammates play, I will play my best and try to win even if my entire team runs down mid and feed. I don't think I should just sit and wait for the game to be ended because of one griefer. I mean, if we get a level 1 player we don't just sit in our base and wait for the game to end right? We try to play the game around them. I know its not the same with a griefer but I want to know if my view is wrong on this or not. As in, should I just sit in my base and let them end or fight till the end.
