My wife and I are finally working through all the new stuff in Hearth and Home, and we're probably about ready to take on Bonemass. I was thinking that with the mountain update coming soon, we might as well wait for that.
So with that in mind, what would you do in the swamp and earlier before advancing if you had some time to kill? I have a good quantity of carrots, turnips, and their respective seeds. We have a good amount of tamed 2 star boars, plus a chest full of boar meat. I filled our coal chest (thinking about starting a second one). Also a chest full of surtling cores, fine wood, corewood, stacks and stacks of regular wood. I am working on getting up to about 8 stacks of iron (I remember you never stop using iron). My last project I can think of is building a resin/dwarf spawner farm, if that's still possible.
Anything else worthwhile to tackle? I wasn't planning on doing much more building until we reach the plains and relocate our main base for farming purposes.
