When the game just outright hates you. *rant/venting*

Sorry for the long post but I have to get this off my chest…

I've been goaded by a friend of mine to pick this game up again. we started a new world and so far we had fun despite some game mechanics i hate. Lately he hasn't been online much so I'd figured I'd just explore a bit. We defeated the Elder so swamp exploring it is.

It all went wrong when my path was blocked by a body pile which was just inaccessible for my arrows to hit. So I figured a quick hit and run bash will do. Immediately a 1 star Draugr Elite spawns right before I deliver the final hit on the pile. Im clearly outmatched as my shield parries get destroyed. So running to my teleporter it is. "Lucky" for me a 1 star Draugr also spawns, in a place I already cleared, so now have two fast bois tracing me. I manage to get in the teleporter, heal up, fix my shit, wait for a bit and go back in.

As i teleport, i hear the Draugr noises and before I even have vision I'm dead. Yeah, not bright of me, but okay. So buttnaked I walk in the teleporter again and just hit run and keep running. I manage to avoid death, i grab my shit and just try to run to my boat. boat has no wind, so the slow build up means they nearly wreck my boat. meanwhile my teleporter has been demolished. i decide to try and kite them and nearly succeed until a little brush block my way and i get sandwiched and die once more.

At that point pretty pissed, but still, rookie mistakes from me, i try again next day.

1) i build a new boat
2) take a long travel towards the place I was with some old gear
3) way a full night cycle in my boat to avoid the greydwarf brutes
4) grab all my shit and rebuild the teleporter when the Draugr left
5) happy that i restored everything, i start getting some ancient bark for a bigger boat.
6) right before i go home to sleep, Unity crashes the game.
7) restarting the game to find myself at step 1.

Gotta say, after taking an hour to restore the mistakes I made, that's demotivating as all hell… -.-
