Who don’t the hoe and hammer have skill improvements?

I'm sure there are a lot of people who are the "builders" of the group. I'm that guy in mine.

While those guys are out adventuring they'll mention what their club, sword, run etc. skills improved and I'm sitting there waiting for my stamina bar to regen so i can use the hoe to level ground maybe 3 times before it runs out again.

Are the devs planning to address this? I'm new to the game but honestly it seems kinda silly to have stamina tied to building at all, but if it must be, there should def be some way to improve the "skills" of the respective instruments. It's also kinda weird to not have levels on the hammer and hoe when they have wear and need repair just like all other weapons and armor do. You basically have all the down sides and none of the plus sides of using them.

I don't mind being spoiled but I just had the thought: maybe it gets better with more advanced tools made from more advanced materials? I'm still using a flint hoe and wood hammer so if that's the case feel free to let me know.
