Why are the russian players angry at Azure Ray?

Doesn't make sense to me. It's not just BetBoom, seems like every Russian player hates this team.

I wasn't around during the Bali Major drama but from doing a bit of research and gathering facts there's no need to be so angry.

Starting from the beginning:

BetBoom 2-0 Tundra

Took place on 2023-07-05.

The lower bracket match between Azure Ray and Tundra was supposed to take place on 2023-07-06.

But then Pure broke tournament rules so their win against Tundra in the upper bracket was nullified. Which means that Tundra advances in the upper bracket and that BetBoom drops to the lower bracket.

Notice the date, the games take one day apart and presumably Azure Ray was preparing for their games against Tundra when the news broke out. Tournament organizers punished Pure and we got the 3 matches below.

Looks like Resolution was used as a standin because Pure was punished by the tournament organizers. Which makes sense, if you're going to break the rules, you should face whatever punishment the tournament organizers is going to give your team.

Another point, even with the loss in the lower bracket they still qualified to TI with the points they earned throughout the year. What's there to be angry about? Are russian players just irrational?
