Season 3 brought an exciting new map to explore, new legends to play, and new events to enjoy. Up until Season 3, I enjoyed playing with my IRL friends, but I noticed that our casual games were getting increasingly difficult. Some of those friends found it more enjoyable NOT to play with me because they felt they played better on their own.
After learning about skill based matching, it all made sense. Playing a casual game with my friends was forcing my friends to play in pseudo Diamond/Predator lobbies. So then I'm stuck playing solo and letting the matching making service assign me teammates.
Then I started noticing another trend. My random teammates performances' were lacking and lacking often. I began collecting screenshots of games were I thought I had a pretty good performance, only to notice that my teammates were sand bags. The frequency that this is happening in season 3 is extremely noticeable to me.
