There are lots of people who just want to drop in and shoot stuff. That's not necessailry a knock on them, but it's not exactly what this game is in squads.
We all see those players. They rush in to fight 1v3, get downed, spam pings on the enemy once they're downed, and if you aren't immediately picking them up, they quit.
These people want solos. Heck, I don't play squads that way but I love solos
This game is becoming increasingly overrun with people who:
Don't use their mic (unless they get pissed at you then they plug it in to rage) or work as a team in any way shape or form.
Don't wait to be res/revived
Don't want to stay together AT ALL even though the characters keep shouting "we're spread out, check your map"
In fact, I've noticed people quitting just because they don't get their preferred landing location. Literally quitting before they hit the ground.
This, in my mind, would be vastly improved if they simply add solos as a mode permanently. There seems to be no downside. There are definitely enough players in this game to support more playlists.
I know I can't be the only one. If you agree let's make sure Apex knows what we need.
