Revenant’s…Revenants.

So we’ve had our angry robot boi for a few days and I haven’t seen anyone else address this so I thought I’d bring him up.

His ultimate is…kinda weak. Strong in specific situations but most of the time it’s fairly weak. Here’s some things I’d like to talk about maybe;

Firstly the ult isn’t like messed up, I’m totally okay with it’s premise. Turn into a shadow with only health (no shields) and when you “die” you return to the totem. The problem lies with returning to the totem. I think personally we shouldn’t come back with like 10hp. It leaves us soooo weak; especially when the range of the ult isn’t very long. The radius we have in the ult isn’t huge so “hiding” it isn’t always an option, especially with most teams now ratting out and waiting to third party a fight. Personally I’d like to come back with alittle more, say 30-35hp. Enough health to warrant some defense if you get caught in the return, but not too much as to make broken. Some would say “well if you have a gold bag you can heal up instantly” sure yeah, but not everyone in the lobby has a gold bag.

Secondly and probably my biggest turn off of using his ult, is the weird flash we get coming back. I don’t know if anyone else deals with this, but returning to the totem I seem to be flashed for a second or so, meaning I can’t really react or figure out who’s shooting where. I don’t know what else they can do for this, but I know it’s messed me up a couple times.

And finally the range, the range is without question extremely weak. Now I’m not saying it should be as far as the eye can see, but there’s been some times I’ve thought, “well we could totem here, slide across this zip and push that team, if they beat us up we can come back here and wait for them to push.” Except I can’t go that far, which sucks really.

All in all I enjoy revenant. He’s not ultra powerful, and I wouldn’t say he’s weak. I enjoy the absolute hell out of his passive and his tactical is decent. Just some ideas I thought I’d say for his ult. 🙂
