Usually I argue against folks who bash an organization, in this case WG, with dramatized, emotional "logic". Or at least what I perceived to be emotional "logic". I have, in the past, fought to maintain that WG cannot be as dire as some folks make it out to be Having worked for large corporations myself, yes sh!t happens, but overall a company wouldn't succeed if it was as bad as many make it out to be.
Nonetheless, today I got my first ban, surprisingly so. About a week ago I submitted a ticket for physics abuse because some tool decided to play avenger (was in a Conq) and push me into the line of enemy fire, I managed to survive, left the "area" only to realize this guy followed me and pushed me up against a wall where I couldn't move. I just left the game. Submitted a ticket.
I call him avenger because at the start of the match, another player, probably oblivious, pushed me slightly out of my hulldown position. It was a case of who got there first, I did, and either he didn't stop in time or wanted a specific angle which I was in the way. So this IS7 pushed me out of the way, I decided to push back and love tap him from behind, after LITERALLY 1-2 seconds I realized this wasn't ideal nor helpful. So I left that hulldown spot and moved away. I guess said avenger (Conq) didn't like that (though no affiliation to the aforementioned player) and pushed me all game.
Submitted a ticket. I get banned. Now IF my love tap really warranted a ban, fine, but that other guy should have been crucified. Whelp to my knowledge, as of writing this post, he is still playing. My first ban (ever) was a 3 day ban. I keep looking up this guy on
I went ahead and appealed the ban. Waiting for WG's response.
Hard to understand how whoever reviewed this footage got their wires crossed but if this is truly the outcome then I'm going to start siding with those who have similar stories.
