Is December madness a thing?

So, I'm an average player with WN8 pretty much oscillating around 1500 for a longer time. But with what is happening since the start of December my average now dropped down to around 600-700 WN8 lol 😀 I know it's hard to diagnose yourself, especially when it comes to sucking at WOT, but it seems like the matches are simply much less predictable, with people joining the game who haven't played for a long time and doing strange stuff.

I guess I'm simply used to matches going in expected ways and when it doesn't happen I'm not creative enough to adjust fast enough – so I'm suffering from my team doing strange stuff, but I'm not attentive enough to exploit the same in the enemy team.

That saying, when this would be true, the better players should have much better results, because they can exploit the enemy's weakness and chaos in their ranks much better. Do you notice it from your games?

Or am I just tilting and looking for stupid explanations? 😀
