Legit can’t believe I haven’t seen any other posts about this.

There has been in the past few days – since the patch I suppose – an absolutely abnormal amount of ammo racks. It’s nearly every game I’m seeing guys heads popped off. Been playing the game for my fair share of years, never seen anything like this.

So I didn’t a small case study. Today’s session was 50 games. (Had the afternoon off…) I played a variety of vehicles of Tiers 8 through 10. Here are the results:

  • I ammoracked enemy vehicles 8 times, 3 of them in my Borrasque, which I only played in 12 of those 50.
  • I also scored 2 ammoracks in 6 games in my Obj 704, although this can be perhaps attributed to the high caliber gun.
  • I myself was ammo-racked twice, both times without taking any prior ammo rack module damage. I was ammo racked in an IS-7 once – understandable – but also in a Renegade, in the one game I played in it.

Finally, get this – I saw nine additional ammo racks across the battlefield separate to mine. Nine. And being that you can’t really see who got a “Demolition Expert” badge post-game, I’m sure there were even more that I just didn’t see.

Speaking of which, just to give an idea of how drastic these statistics are, I had a total of 340 Demolition Expert badges in 25,000 battles. Granted, there’s a couple thousand arty battles and some low tiers, which have little chance of ammo racking, so I’ll put it down to 20,000. 340 ammo racks in 20,000 is one per 58 games. 8 in 50 is one in 6. That’s insane.

It’s a total of 18 ammo racks in 40 battles – and that’s not to factor in the certain 4 or 5 others that I didn’t see.

Hence my theory is that there were definitely some unintentional or intentional change to module health of the ammo-rack, or its sensitivity.

Thoughts? More importantly, experiences? Anyone else seeing what I’m seeing?
