First of all I'm a mediocre scrub that likes light tanks – underdog tanks, only carry small repair kits, 2-3 gold rounds, that I usually never use, never used food, ftp since Christmas 2018 and I don't have a premium account.
I don't really have enough time to play the game and sometimes I just need credits fast to buy the tank I have unlocked.
A few years ago I had an old clanmate that had a system which as he told me was the most efficient way to grind credits in Wot for average to bad players, there was even a YouTube video of a streamer testing it out, but I can't seem to find it.
The experiment was to play for an hour, since boosters are time based and not battle based, totally normal with premium tier 8s, no food, grinding credits as usual, but the interesting part was the efficient way… He lined up 7 of the fastest premium tier 8s he had, and rushed one after the other suicide spotting and putting a couple of shoots in if possible, used a couple of rounds and no consumables.
I did the same and the results are worrying to the degree that I wonder why WG still has those boosters time based! The tanks I used were Lt432/ELC Even 90/Blackdog/T92/EBR 75/Senlac/M41D pretty fast tanks, some with Turbo on their 2nd setup.
When playing normally I played 6 games and grinded almost 169K that we should deduct 10K for consumable I used that are not included in the battle results cause I got them when they were available with a discount.
When I suicided spot I pulled 30 games and grinded 342K in the same amount of time effortlessly, plus more free XP! (I checked, no mission was accomplished that would have given extra credits)
The 2nd thing is that suicide spotting is more consistent, since if you play for an hour and you get bad teams and/or bad RNG you will waste an hour of boosters.
Any thoughts on this? Can more scrubs try this out and see if it works for them too? I don't deny that a good player can make those credits in 3 games or less, so I'm mostly asking the average Joe!
(Please don't start a discussion about bans because the guy I told you is in another clan and still grinds credits like this, 5 years now!)
