OP Tanks

Do you feel like the opinion on "OP Tanks" is fashionable? I mean the Content Creator's (CC) on Twitch and YouTube thrive off the controversy of OP tanks. Have you seen the click bait for these videos? Do you think there is a vocal minority of complainers driving the design of tanks?

For example, British wheelies: Wargaming (WG) has a good idea for a new tank and then they are too scared to make it OP, so it turns into a blah tank. Maybe they were scared a new EBR would hurt someone's feelings? In the end, we get a uninteresting game. Then the CC's complain about how pedestrian the tank is. There is no pleasing the insatiable "political" injustice, whether too weak or too strong.

The vocal minority, such as CC and forum posters, ostensibly wants no tank to be too powerful because they care about the clicks from their CC consumers. Their consumers are frustrated because they do not perform in the game as well as they wish they would, and CC commiserate by increasing viewership.

If all tanks have the same winrate, then all tanks are uninteresting. Make all tanks basically the same and the vocal minority will still be unsatisfied because they need to generate controversy.

As opposed to the vocal minority, the casual players do not have all of the special offer tanks. When WG makes an interesting tank such as the premium EBR, only the vocal minority gets to have it.

Even though the best players make tank models appear OP by giving the them the best winrate, most players just want to have fun and see interesting tanks, and even have a chance to play "OP" tanks.
