Tailgating

I see this more and more, especially after getting bumped in front of an enemy vehicle and killed, twice. Yes, it’s a pet peeve of mine.
First, tanks are not a train of elephants on parade holding the tails of the one in front of them. Give room to the vehicle in front of you and an escape path. These aren’t bumper cars as well and you can accidentally(!?) bump your ally into fire.
Echelon is your friend. Look it up if you don’t know what I mean, Real tanks use this pattern of movement to maximum firepower and reduce potential damage to themselves and Allies. A former clan that I was in practiced all the skills, side scrapping, etc. You can have up to three tanks in echelon to subsequently fire around a corner if done correctly.
Sudden stops: another reason for echelon movement. You are not in conversation with the vehicle in front of you and doing an “elephant chain” just has you collide with the tank in front of you. They may have seen a snap shot opportunity and stopped to fire and you made them miss.
That’s all for this rant.
