WG has a problem with events, and it's not learning on mistakes. There are two types of events in WoT: one, where effort of the player is rewarded (marathons for example), and the other one, the new one, the one with the problem: team competition.
We had racing event before and now we have Team Clash. They have one thing in common: if player makes a "mistake" and chooses wrong team on the begginging, he loses any chances for the main prize, no matter how good he performs. What is the definition of the wrong team? The one without the highest number of players.
Consider Team Clash and teams having 8, 3, 3 and 2 teams. The first one plays
against all others and loses all battles. Gets 16 points. The other teams win and they get 12, 12 and 8 points. The first one team is the worst one, but wins the competition. That's terribly wrong, and this is the worst case scenario, in reality first team will win around 50% of the battles anyway.
And we have such a situation right now: Skill4ltu team leads with over 17 mln points, the other teams have 9 mln, 9 mln and 4.6 mln points. The final score is already set. Not because players in the first team are the best, just because there are so many of them.
I wish WG started to learn and make some events where skill or dedication matters, not just luck and number of people making some choice.
Just to make things clear: I'm in Skill4ltu team.
