I just freed up an order to skip Coalition-4 on the 279e campaign. Been trying for weeks but it feels like no matter what tank I bring, I'll have at least two or three battles with zero internal modules damaged. Regardless of how well I'm aiming the RNG just won't come through. Even had a grand battle where I got 8 in one match and I still ended the run with only 17/25. After the HE changes it just feels nigh impossible.
The dumb mission I'm stuck on is Bloc-4; assist allies in killing two enemies, three games in a row. I'd like to think I'm pretty decent in light tanks, and even though I'm not a fan of the Ru.251 I manage to get pretty good spotting games in it from time to time, as well as the M41 90. This mission feels like it should be so easy, but one of three things always happens:
- Playing a light tank and as good as my spotting is, my team doesn't actually kill anything I'm lighting or moves up into brawling positions later in the game so spotting is no longer a thing.
- Get two battles in a row with a light tank and then get dropped into a city map on the third attempt, 90mm guns don't do enough damage to destroy the tracks on most enemies with new durability equipment changes.
- Get frustrated and decide to go the tracking route with a higher alpha, good DPM gun (Tiger II, E75, E100 w/128) but timing never works out and allies often kill the enemies immediately after they've repaired their tracks.
This and two other Bloc missions are my last barriers to completing the 279e set, so maybe hearing everyone else's frustrations will help me push through 😂
