Reduction in top speed after hit is nice, of course, but I didn't feel like much of typical EBR player's playstyle changed. Still making 180 turns in half a second and flying around with 360 degrees under multiple guns without fear, because most players don't even bother aiming and shooting at it anymore.
In my opinion it definitely needs few more nerfs that will make it less toxic and more skill based:
- Repair wheels only when stopped – this will significantly increase skill cap for this tank and force players to only actively scout in correct timings, instead of just yoloing flank and mansing shells by "exploiting" epic mobility and turn speeds.
- 390 to 360 or 340 alpha reduction on normal shells – EBR hits your leopard by 390 HP on full speed on magnetic autoaim without even bothering to take lead or aim or whatever, while you miss him even after aiming, really feels just too much. It gets even worse when:
- 500 HE alpha with 105mm penetration. There are 2 ways about it, either give it 53mm penetration on HE or decrease to 420 HE alpha. Doing 500 damage + guaranteed bunch of critical hits, wasted medkit, repair kit or even fire, without even aiming…. Also too much, in my opinion.
What do you guys think? How did EBR's nerf affect your gameplay experience on other light tanks or other lightly armored or really, any vehicles?
