Why is community so toxic?

Hello and respect to all the members here,I just wanna post this to see the thoughts on the theme. So my question is the one from the head title, why? I understand every game has a base of players who are toxic and just naturally disrespectful to others no matter what they do. Thast s a fact. But, why? What do you get from that? I m gonna go first and say openly that I m no pro/great/unicum/uni/special player at this game. I just consider myself good/average(depending on the match).but my real question here is, why is this community so toxic? When i m here on reddit and i post some questions/anwsers/facts i pretty much get nice replies and suggestions, that help, basically everyone is pretty friendly, but when u play the game itself, the chat is full of toxicity and hate…. "my stats are better tha yours, fucking noob, idiot, fuck you, you are useless shit" and so on and so on… Some where directed to me some not… Now i dont want to report these type pf players, i actually tried to talk to them to see what they have to say…the only response i ever get is that i have a 47% wn at 4700 battles and that i am cancer… Like why? Ok those are my stats and i m pretty proud to be 47% at 4700 dmg… But i dont even care about stats, like why cant everyone just play the game have a great time&enjoy? I get frustrated a bunch of times cause some teams are just a complete disaster but i never take it out on anyone of them… Why do that?
