I've been trying to play Red Dead Redemption Online lately, and holy heck, that game barely works. I spend more time simply trying to get into the same session with my friends than I actually spend time playing the game.
I've logged 3,300 hours into GTA Online, and it's just as bad! RDRO is somehow WORSE because at least when GTAO disconnects you, you're still playing the game, though now you're alone in a session. But RDRO? Naw man, you get kicked back to the main menu every time.
And it's not just that, Need for Speed Heat has problems with its internet too, and hell, so does The Division 2 and Ghost Recon Wildlands…
And I didn't even mention framerate issues. I have a damned Ryzen 7 2700 and a GTX 1070 with 8GB of VRAM and 40GB of system RAM and I still struggle to run both RDR and GTA…
Minecraft is the only game I like as much as I do WoT, and that game runs like ass for no good reason too. Thankfully, I don't have network troubles with it, but that's because I own both of the servers I play on.
Now, World of Tanks? WoT might have problems with gold ammo and such, but man, I can run the game at max settings and it's smoother than the mouse movements of an arty main. Other than packet loss, which I've only experienced for one day, the internet is flawless too. (My friend has packet loss more often than I do, but we aern't sure if it's her internet or WoT being screwy).
So, in case any of you developers see this, I just wanna say Thank You for making a functional game. I might get sick of gold ammo and arty, but if I wanna play WoT with my friend all I have to do is make a platoon instead of suffering through 20 rockstar "you got disconnected" screens.
And also thank you for buffing the Tiger 2 and E75 and E100, hell yeah brother I'm gonna slap some booty now! I'm even gonna re-buy the KV-4 and T32, the T32 was my first tier 8 tech tree tank and I can't wait to give it another go. The new 122mm gun on the KV-4 looks like fun too, and I'm also super excited for the Kretslavskiy coming to the bond shop so I can finally get my hands on both of the KV-4 heavies!
NOW WHERE IS THE KV-4 KTTS REEEEEEEEE
(Also, I'd re-buy the M103 and T110E5 but I kinda prefer my T30 and T110E4, heh, I'm all about big alpha over DPM)
