TL:DR = Since we have all these magical weapons, why not a magical pickaxe! <3 A Fiery one from Ashlands.

Been mining some Copper again in the Dark Forest and had #INSPIRATION.
As a Veteran of the Mistlands, I tend to mine through the night in Dark Forest cuz… I mean… 2 trolls + 30 various greydwarves is much much easier to handle than a single 1-star Seeker on uneven terrain.
The most annoying thing tends to be lack of good lighting while mining… and when I switch to my trusty Jotun's Bane or Mistwalker to return root and stone to its less lively state… I realized… both these items provide wonderful ambient lighting. So:
We should have a Flaming Magical Pickaxe to craft/loot within Ashlands!
- Ambient Lighting
- Significant Fire damage when hitting mobs. Burns for a short time.
- Deals "Strong" damage (Yellow) to normal Stone, Copper and Tin Deposits, as well as Silver Veins.
- Acts like a Campfire, inspiring fear in boars, greylings and greydwarves appropriately.
- Gives Fire Resistant (aka Warmth) while held, just in case you aren't wearing other cape / armor options in Mountains.
PS: Quick reminder, speaking of campfires…. we all would love one or two more fireplace options for bases. So we can leave Campfires outside in our camps as intended <3
