For those of you who have troubles with visibility in 1080p and now especially with DLSS.

Many of you know this but it is for those who don't and want the game to look pretty and sharp.

Playing Tarkov in 1080p on a monitor is really bad and now once you enable DLSS it is even worse. For those of you who want to have more visibility and a nicer game in general there is possibility of enabling DSR – Factors in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Once you click to enable you need to select the 1440p resolution by checking the box and hit okay. Below DSR – Factors will be now enabled DSR – Smoothnes…that I recommend keeping somewhere around 10-20% as the higher it is the more blur it adds to the game. Click "Apply" in the Nvidia Control Panel and start Tarkov.

What DSR does is that it renders the game in PC at the resolution you select and then it downscales it back to the resolution of your PC display.

Once you get to the game you need to go to graphics settings and at resolution you should have now 1440p available. This needs to be used in Fullscreen and if you alt + tab while in menu or raid you need to go to settings and switch back to 1080p and then back to 1440p to apply it once again.

This combined with DLSS Quality makes my game look super nice and sharp with 80-90 FPS on Lighthouse(before I had like 65).

You then need to play with Sharpness in the graphics settings and with Luma Sharpen and Adaptive Sharpen under PostFX to tune your visibility.

I hope it works for at least one of you and helps you get your game pretty.

Edit: also worth mentioning DSR will lower your FPS at the cost of the better looking game but you are able to get it back with DLSS now. Remember you are rendering the game to 1440p in the PC first instead of the 1080 so it comes with a price.
