How to recognize an Imposter

• Memory: It's very Important to remember all previous voting rounds, even when someone can't be the imposter for the current round you can't discard him as the second imposter. If someone is sus for the first round but not enough to vote him out but he still being sus round after round. He is probably an imposter
• Information: The goal for imposters is to make information scarce as turning off lights and comms, so if you see someone giving useless information or just making shady something that it isn't, is immediately sus. Examples are this: "I didn't see red in the other side of the map" "It is Red or blue, they were in the acting sus" "White,what you were doing in admin?" All this examples are useless information or make it less reliable. Crewmates should always say clear and short information.
• Time: Time usually works for crewmates (more time to do tasks, recollect info. discard people, etc) But when false information is presented, imposters can use time at its advantage to distract or make things confusing. You need to read people's intentions. if someone takes too long to explain its movements when isn't needed, or someone tries to make a quick "skip" vote maybe he is trying to distract crewmates from the truth.

How to counter this as the Imposter?

• Use people memories against them: Crewmates can't remember anything, this is a good way to place misinformation without anyone realizing it, you can repeat some tasks cause it's unlikely that someone would remember this or say something that actually not happened: "Do you remember we went to electrical in the last round?", "There was red, green and blue but cyan, i didn't see you", etc.
• Misinformation: Imposters need to lie but they also need to tell the truth to avoid suspicions. The use of language in this lies is fundamental. One example: An imposter finds a body in lower engine in "The Skeld" it's partner is in camaras with some people if the Imposter says "I found it in lower engine" crewmates would ask "Who was on camaras? but if the Imposter says "I found it in the road to electrical" crewmates would ask "Who was in electrical?"
• Be dumb: In this game about intelligence one of the best strategy is to be dumb, what i mean is doing something seemingly illogical but with a good reason. Self-reporting is a good example although the 99% fails the rest 1% makes it very good. Another way is killing someone in a rare place walking around the map to the same spot and report it. Venting and killing one of the many campers at cams. All this plays have a high-risk high-reward strategies. My favorite type is in the map Mira HQ, just beginning the match wait to be last one, sabotage lights and kill the last one walking through the hallway and continue walking with the rest.
