I hate so much the mistlands terrain to an extend that I’m willing to make a mod to change the terrain generation

Yeah I said it, it's awful, not only do I have to worry about the mist (which is awesome by the way) but I also have to worry about the damn mountain that blocks my way not knowing if there is a gap 3 meters form me or 1 kilometer away and for the people that say just jump over it

NO YOU JUMPY BASTARD, my finger hurts from pressing the space bar every 2 seconds so I can climb one rock then wait a whole minute until my stamina recharges so I can jump again and fall all the way down

Does anyone know if there is a mod that does something similar to what I intend?

My purpose is to change so that the mistlands terrain is like the black forest but with gigant chasms every now and then instead of stupid mountains everywhere

A mod that only changes the geometry of the terrain of some biome

I would like to get in contact with the developer for technical information about how to do it
