Order of Healing

For the most part, everyone has a vague understanding of healing in Tarkov. All the time we see and try to emulate what the top tier players do, but that is not always practical or what is "BEST" to do. That is why I decided to put together an Order of Healing that most players should try and follow. Every situation will be different and this primarily covers the process you should follow when there is not a threat nearby. I am just going to leave it below.

Order of Healing:

  1. Heavy bleeds (tourniquets)
  2. Light bleeds (bandages)
  3. Fractures (splints)
  4. Chest/head (cheese, salewa, grizzly, etc.)
  5. Surgery (CMS/Surv12)
  6. Full heal (cheese, salewa, grizzly, etc.)

And for the instances where you may not have the opportunity due to a hostile to follow the above.

Care Under Fire:

  1. Pre-med (painkillers)
  2. Healing Stim (if no pre-med)
  3. Chest/head
  4. If threat neutralized, follow order of healing above

Every player should have access even from level 1 to the items needed, with the exception to surgery kits and most stims. I am curious to know what order of healing y'all typically follow or your thoughts and revisions to the above lists. I really hope this helps anyone overusing or misusing all of their medical items, or not understanding what takes priority.

PS: For those who might mention it, the only time you would do anything before a Heavy bleed, is if your chest or head would reach "0" before you could remove the bleed. Thanks!
