I have been playing for a couple years initially had game installed on hard drive, then ssd then M.2. This helped load times the most but nothing else major.
Game still stuttered and skipped, just thought it was a part of the game. This especially happened when shooting started in a fight causing me to lose alot.
Opened task manager and saw the SSD that had windows installed was spiking to 100% right when the skipping in game happened.
Reinstalled windows onto my M.2 and then my HDD would spike to 100% when I would stutter in game. I was frustrated at this point because I had been messing with it for over an hour so I unplugged the HDD.
Load in, almost no stutters even while playing on Streets. First gun fight, no stutters, wipe a team a 2 as a scav. Pure Bliss.
If you stutter alot take a look at task manager and see if one of your drives are maxing out.
