Some of you NEED to hear this

Especially those that are new this or last wipe.

Hi I’m a tarkov gamer and I play exclusively tarkov for years. 9000h+ logged and no other game is interesting to me.

I count to the tryhards that get very quickly high level early wipe running good gear. But there’s something I have to tell you:

The average player is not like me nor like any other level 20+ you’ve met

While it does look like it with all the 24/7 playing streamers it really isn’t. The average player I’ve ran into this wipe is around level 10. You just don’t see the level 1-10 as often because they hide, are stuck on early maps, play scavs or die to scavs.

It’s the level 15+ or higher players that game all day grinding the wipe that already dominate scavs and play more aggressive therefore run into you more frequently. Every wipe I’ve witnessed over the years is like this. Especially when you go on maps such as interchange, reserve and now lighthouse. Those have the level 20+ tasks therefore chances are way higher you’ll get matched with players in that range.

Usually, after the first weeks it cools down again. Those grinders play less, they don’t play as aggressive anymore struggling with their cash doing the worst quests possible or loot jackets for the 20th random streets of tarkov / shoreline key they need for a task. Same goes for teams that are very dominant early wipe ( since they partly planed it for weeks ) but meet less the further into wipe with different interest.

Additionally, lots of bugs & fixes will happen right now and the next weeks so it’ll get even easier and better to play.

AND GUESS WHAT: even if I’m level 42+ with maxed out traders my face shield won’t protect my face from an average scav bullet unless I skip headphones.

Just something I want to let everyone know out there that got the feeling they are far behind. I see an average level of 20-25 even after 3-4 months of wipe. Anyone telling you that the average player is level 40+ after a month is lying. BSG released statistics in the past as well and they have proven that not even 20% of the entire playerbase hits level 40+ in an entire wipe cycle.
