Another tips post, yeah, but I haven't seen anything about this yet…
So, many of you have heard about 'wiggling'. Spamming Q and E is considered a wiggle, and is often considered a sign of trying to avoid a firefight. This is not a guarantee, and you should always expect to get shot when you are doing it, but you might make some friends (I have made TONs of in-raid partnerships this wipe).
BUT, if you are playing a PMC, you can also use your voice commands to make some friends.
I suggest setting up hotkeys in an offline raid.
You can access voice comms by double tapping (or maybe it's holding) Y.
A menu will pop up and offer you all of the different things your PMC can say. You can then, if you look at the bottom center, assign whatever command to your F keys.
I'd suggest adding, at least, 'Yes/confirm', 'No/negative', and 'Hold Fire'.
There are a lot of fun ones in there you can play with and, for a lot of us vets, getting into fights and spamming voice commands is part of the fun and really livens things up. When you're locked down in dorms in a firefight and you and another PMC are screaming at eachother, it is a really good time.
Another quick tidbit, when doing certain actions (like throwing a grenade), looking at certain items, or if you're looking at another person, hitting Y will give a voice command related to whatever you are doing.
You can also see a players name by pressing Y on eachother when it shows 'Cooperate' at the bottom of the UI.
Happy Raiding girls and boys!
EDIT: Oh, and there are EFT LFG groups, check this subbys sidebar.
