It took just a minute to figure out how to use it, and using my inara account to export my current in-game builds to it made it easy and convenient.
I thought my AspX was a top notch explorer when I had it mindlessly weight stripped down to the struts, I had a jump range of 67ish ly's, but top speed was only 230, could barely boost with a G5 engine focused PD, no AFM or repair limpets, an overcharged undersized Power Plant, and I only had like 70mj shields for accidental crashes (almost pointless).
My build had all kinds of mistakes in it's design because the game makes it so tedious to see the overall effect an engineer modification will make to the ship (the outfitting screen info NEEDS to be visible while engineering modules!)

Once I learned the tool I was able to better apply the tips this community has taught me to tweak my AspX to make an exploration vessel I can be truly proud of. I got the boost speed and recharge up to where I can consistently travel 480+, I have 204mj shields, bigger power plant (armored), an AFM (armored), SRV, and Repair Limpets, and I still kept my jump range above 60ly. Making this ship with coriolis before building in-game gave me a much better fundamental understanding of ship design and module power management.
Behold my pride and joy, the S.S Aspire. Veteran feedback on what I think is my first decent ship build is much appreciated.
I want to thank this community for guiding me to building something worth loving!
