Verify your game files from within the LAUNCHER, not through Steam. It's under the OPTION menu at the top of the launcher.
I first tried verifying my files in Steam and the constant Orange Sidewinder error wouldn't go away. Doing it via the launcher worked.
Verifying the files resulted in a few downloads. Something appears to have gone wrong with the update downloading over Steam.
EDIT: Disable Virtual Cache in the options before verifying the files, not doing so can slow down the process a lot on slow PC's. Also, it may take a while for the launcher to get past "preparing for update".
I didn't disable the cache but I also have a very fast M.2 NVMe drive.
EDIT 2: ED have pushed a update to Steam (restart it). It should of fixed this problem.
