And no, I'm not talking about material traders, more like player traders.
This man needed a lot of meta alloys (300 t) and in return he was going to give me 150 units of sulphur, 300 units of arsenic and a lot of tritium and painite for my buddy's carrier. The trade seemed legit and we both agreed on it.
While I was getting the meta alloys, I was attacked several times in my rover by 2 or 3 players. I didn't think of it much and then I took off after I got most of my meta alloys. I decided to give him 50 at a time. But when I was going to the Abraham Lincoln in SOL, the place we agreed to trade, I was interdicted and I was pulled out of super cruise. I was robbed of my 50 units and I even told that guy that I couldn't deliver those 50 units and that I would try again. He told me that for every 10 units meta alloy lost, he would cut down on his deal by 25% which meant that I had already lost 125% of my profit
I told him to go to hell and he didn't. Instead he waged war on my squadron OVER META ALLOYS and now I'm too scaewd to log into open play because he would not stop chasing me.
Please do be careful with player trading. It's a risky profession.
