I feel it's pretty shameful that I almost have max traders but still have not finished this quest. My original plan is to finish it while playing normally like how I used to do (I haven't played this game for a long time), but today I found out there are some quests locked behind it, therefore I decided to farm it at Factory and I only need 1 more kill.
So here are what I learned this afternoon while farming Cold Blooded:
- Glass hall spawn is a terrible spawn – I got shot from behind a few times and got 1 tapped once in spawning animation. Even if I managed to escape, there is a chance to get pre-aimed by someone spawned near Gate 3 since he heard me coming.
- Some players use scripts to run around in cycle at spawn to level up skills, killed 2 both Lvl 50+
- Tagilla knows Leg Meta – I got beamed by Tagilla and my legs got destroyed, had close to 0 health on other body parts. Post raid screen shows it was magnum buckshot.
- The sound of kicking the door at 3F is very loud, I can hear someone breaching at Forklifts.
- Apparently, the mourning when running with blacked legs is also very loud – I kept accidentally deselecting health and healing my fracture, so I had to keep jumping off stairs to break my leg. My teammate says he heard my mourning while hiding gunpowder when I was running around in the med tent area fighting someone.
- I really don't like glass hall spawn
- Shattered mask actually doesn't afford ear protection. I guess it makes sense since it doesn't block headsets.
- There are even hackers at Factory. Crappy ammo and no stock scav gun. Enjoyed 3 free face massages today. I don't recall there being a red keycard spawn at Factory, right?
- Naked double-barrel user w/ flechette is a bit annoying – Especially when he has high strength. I was hoping to see more and different guns.
- My CQB skill is awful – Chasing gunshots and hitting a 100+m headshot with VPO-215 + ELCAN on a running target? Easy; Finding player's head after sneaking up behind him and he has no idea I was behind him? Harder than my final.
- Right-handed peek gives such advantages – Saw 3 pixels popped behind the cover and got shot. I have been told by many people about it, but today I learned it at receiving end of a PS12B.
- Several new definitions of getting tarkov'd ;D.
That's probably all I learn after 25ish kill and halving my whole stash/rubbles this afternoon, it feels great to at least learn new stuff despite maybe not a lot. I got some skill points if nothing else. Now, I must head back to Factory, still need one more headshot for Cold Blooded.
(The fights often start before I have tremor. And those AFK guys running in cycle ? I one tapped both of them with M856A1 and saw blood on their face, but post raid screen shows two left hand kills.)
