I've been running the gauntlet, mapping as many Ammonia Worlds as possible
We need to understand why the Thargoids are ripping us apart in the Core Systems, and why there is a discrepancy in behavior between the Bubble and Nebulae.
If we are lucky and figure out the Thargoid strategy in time, we might be able to frame Inter-species negotiations around their desires. Demonstrate our strength without firing a shot on the Maelstroms, logistical superiority.
I have much more trust invested in the new iteration of AEGIS, since Professor Alba Tesrea worked extensively with Seo Jin-ae. Instead of releasing more weapons and escalating blindly, AEGIS has opted to invest resources into studying the Core System Thargoids themselves whilst sharing their findings with the general public. Despite the Anti-xeno label Galnet imposes, We at YKE Technologies works closely with members of Reforge AEGIS and support the current in-narrative iteration. They have a head on their shoulders, which we all need right now. Azimuth took their AX Megaship investment, never used it, and tossed an upgrade out the window before going silent again. The Alexandria has been avenged.
Aside from my AEGIS ranting, the recent Ammonia World Survey has provided serious insight to us on just how many Ammonia Worlds are in Human-Occupied territory.
I encourage all exploration pilots to return home to assist in the initiative. Simply visit and map
For those unfamiliar with the Thargoid 'whisperer', Seo Jin-ae, formally known as D-2, was a test subject brutally experimented on by Azimuth Biotech during Project Seraph. Her brain was connected to a Thargoid interface on Salvation's orders, known at the time as the Witch. She can translate Thargoid language and even fly Thargoid ships, and she was fortunately able to escape. Her rehabilitation was conducted by Professor Tesrea prior to AEGIS' reformation. I believe that insight has partially inspired the investment into Thargoid research, rather than Thargoid conflict.
