Anyone else surprised how strong the American region is at the Major?

Heading into the major people were pretty much saying how strong EU and CIS regions were.

But in the major, the American region truly showed up and are putting an impressive showing. I didn’t expect them to be this strong and I gotta give props where it’s due.

TSM looks like a Top 2 team in the tournament. They are incredibly versatile and disciplined. Bryle has been the standout mid in the tournament IMO.

Thunder Awaken. Pakazs freaking dota. The MVP of the major thus far. His stats are insane.

Tundra, led by NA player Sneyking, looks like a Top 2 team as well. I expect a TSM vs. Tundra final.

Beastcoast of course eliminating both EG and Team Spirit. No one thought they had a fighting chance, many believed they were the worst team at the major, but they’re now Top 8!
