Coming off the back of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt's gwent man it was such a joy to hear that there was going to be a standalone Gwent card game. I remember signing up for closed beta and being so excited. When it finally landed and I fired it up on my Xbox it was like I received a special gift. After playing for a few hours it was just as fun or even more fun than TW3s version of gwent, of course there were broken mechanics and the game wasn't perfect but the cards were very unique and did things more core to what the card is associated with, and also the whacky combos oh man, Queensguard resurrections anyone? The content creator scene was pretty awesome as well with guys like Lifecoach, Swim, Joesnow etc.
The game is definitely in a better place reletively speaking and definitely going forward well but fun wise it's debatable, let me know which era of Gwent was or is the most fun for you.
