Cs go scene vs dota 2 scene

So we have international in dota 2 and surely it's a biggest tournament and brings a lot of excitement to the game because all teams are preferring for it and put most of their energy in it and prize for it is very high but we don't get a lot of small "big" tournaments on which teams will put a lot of energy and care about as much too, like they do in csgo, plus we get international only once a year, now i have not been following cs go scene for few years constantly but it used to be like – there was 3 majors every year, later only 2 and a lot of big tournaments with high prize in-between majors and most of the big teams used to attend this tournaments, for me this made game scene and community much more alive, you get to see your favorite players more often on the screen, fans interacted with them more often on lans and there were more games of top tier teams competing which btw were exciting and people discussed this games a lot more, also just because there was 3 or 2 majors once in a year with much less prize pool, it didn't made csgo any less exciting to watch, csgo players were motivated for majors as much as dota 2 players are for internationals and plus we had many exciting tournaments which were also attended by top tier teams and we don't have that in dota 2, i'm just stating my opinion and i think cs go system is much better than this only one international, i'm not saying that dota should change anything tho, i know now it's a tradition.
