Developers’ next big step should be increasing raid times across all maps

There just isn't enough time. I feel like I'm playing battle royale game but playable area isn't shrinking, it's the countdown breathing on my neck.

Customs for example feels horrible, 35 minutes can't cut it forever.

Maps aren't biggest, but they are impressively dense with loot and other things.

Giving 1 hour to every map (except Factory I guess?) would be a nice start… but even that just seems short, with airdrops, bosses and possible new "event" contents coming up, good luck with accomplishing anything without sprinting everywhere like a lunatic.

I don't think that was intended from the very start, seeing how BSG is trying to at least make game a little immersive.

And now imagine Streets drop, what the raid time will be? If I understand the scope of that map, some parts like buildings could take let's say 20 minutes to explore… You do it 3 times and then just fuck right off to extract? And that's in a scenario where you aren't included in a shootout with a player/boss.

Short raid times really drag Tarkov down… I've done some thinking, couldn't think of worse thing in the game currently. Y'all talk about recoil, yes, that's really important because this a shooting game, duh. But if in 1 raid I can't even enjoy being in multiple shootouts (like real one, not onetap and bounce), can't care about recoil that much.

Now I really like exploring, looting, sneaking… And oh boy, this game is filled with loot, bushes, good sound design if it's not bugging of course…. But I just can't accomplish anything without timer being in constant red.

I understand it would be a huge pain for servers as raid times were already cut some time ago… but hey BSG, you talked about seamless openworld before, no? I think that's far, FAR more difficult task 🙂
