Finally ventured into mistlands

Have been waiting on gfn fixing controller support but thought I'd brave it just for quick exploration and get out.

Fully stocked on lox pie and finally after hours of prep landed in the plains. Set up porta on a high rock with a straight line into the mist. Wow it's unbelievable how difficult to navigate with mist. First meeting with a bunch of mages. A 1 star as well with root and such.

Did a bit of digging to get marble chop a tree for root. Killed a few seekers and soldiers. Then went a bit further and found some swords and a skull.

As I was looking a 1 star soldier swam out of the water. Was very hesitant but wanted to see if I could block. Just barely and I couldn't get away so it killed me. Boom loss of skills and now my gear Is stuck in the mist.

Just what I didn't want. Not too bad I've got those mages nearby and I can probably run in and run back out. Wrong. I return to the mages and the beast is rampaging in the mist. I can see destruction in the distance but can't see what is happening. Eventually while I watch the mages notice and set off to destroy. The 1 star mage gets taken out then the other mage and finally the rogue. I'm just standing with hands in my pockets as it all unfolds.

I'm very much in trouble. I leaf it out into the plains into a gaggle of fuling that it makes light work off. Run into the mist blond and scout for my corpse. Grab it suit up and head back into plains, death and destruction as it's off chasing down fulings.

I get its attention and lead it into a herd off lox. I jump into portal.drop off my new stuff and old gear. Portal back and it's killing it's last lox. It's on low health do I shoot between the soldier and lox until both succumb.

That was epic. Heart racing the whole time and I'm utterly terrified to venture back into mist. If there are 1 stars in the mines then I'm toast. No way In hell I can fight 1 v 1. It massacred 3 lox plus a bunch more stuff and was still kicking.
