So hear me out
Lvl 30 with a 55% SR, and ive been starting to prefer FLASHBANGS over frags and here is why
A lot of us generally prefer Frags because frags are loud and they KILL. Who doesn't want that?
On paper, compared to a frag, a flashbang which can only reduce a players combat effectiveness seems MUCH less appealing
But, for Frags to actually do anything, they have to land pretty damn close to the target.
Picture this:
You are trapped in a Dorm room, or a room on resort, and your opponent is holding the hallway. You are trapped
In order to get a Frag close enough to hurt him, you have to step out and expose yourself TO the enemy, thereby risking death
Flashbangs, can simply be tossed in the hall (and most players don't expect flashbangs so don't look away) meaning that as he holds the angle on the hallway, he will end up blind.
Maybe not even 100% blind, but the flash "effect" is brutal in this game, and even a partial flash seriously can fuck up vision.
Quite a few times ive been in the above situation, used a flash, and then peaked out the door to drop my opponent holding the hallway
TLDR< especially as a solo player, bring flashbangs over grenades, they are cheap as hell
