Fortnite and its Deceiving Practice

Unlike most people, I'm getting concerned about this new trend of locking everything thats is good behind a pay wall/monthly subscription.

It's become a trend to stuff the Battle Pass (BP) with skins that have simple designs and don't appeal to the players. Not wanting to be a saudosist, but back at Chapter 0 (Seasons 1-10), skins were a lot more detailed, having cool challenges and getting the attention of the players. In fact, BPs back then were more difficult to get (you had to either buy Vbucks, have STW or grind BP after BP.).

Now I feel like the quality of the BPs are being neglected by the developers and all the good skins are being locked behind paywalls that not all players can afford. People may argue back with the Starter Packs. Indeed, the starter packs were skins locked behind a pay wall, but a generous one. 5.99€ if I'm not mistaken. And they are not monthly subscriptions, and ever so rarely they are available for a month.

Finally, I would like to adress the licensed characters that come with the BPs. I believe they are just a charm for players to feel that "oh this is not so bad at all! It has Darth Vader and Indiana Jones! Might as well buy it to get this featured characters!".
Sure this is marketing, but it needlessly cherishes players to buy BPs of horrible quality regarding design, stuffing some value in it so players feel more complied to buy it.

This is my two cents, feel free to argue back. I might post something related to the skin shop soon if I feel like it.

Thanks for reading.
